Pat Rafter: Making It Possible

Pat Rafter: Making It Possible

Former World #1, two time US Open champ, and current Davis Cup coach, Pat Rafter is a sporting legend. His unassuming and generous nature has only further cemented his position as an Aussie icon.

Hailing from Queensland, Pat is Australia's greatest singles tennis player since the legendary John Newcombe in the 1970s. His position as an all-round Australian legend was recognised in 2002 when he was named Australian of the Year.

For years Pat beat the best in the world, dominating the net. The mild-mannered Queenslander is used to letting his racquet do the talking — but now he's speaking up for animals.

During his tennis career Pat epitomised 'fair play' — and his sportsmanship during many thrilling contests earned him respect and admiration around the world. After enjoying a life outdoors keeping healthy and fit — it is no wonder that Pat instantly recognised the injustice of denying a natural existence to other living beings — that it simply isn't 'fair' to deny animals raised for food the same legal protection that is afforded to the animals who share our homes.

As such, Pat is now 'doing his bit' to educate and encourage consumers to make informed and compassionate choices that will lead to an end to factory farming. Three of Pat's brothers have chosen animal-friendly diets — so he's no stranger to the different choices that we can make that will lead to a kinder world!

If you believe like Pat, that it is time to 'level the playing field' so that all animals in human care are provided with a life worth living and a natural existence — then join him in spreading the word — as together we can Make it Possible.

Watch the extended Make it Possible web video, featuring Pat and other Australian celebrities.
